Working with hair has always been a passion of Kristy’s. She began her career six years while completing an apprenticeship at WCTC. While there, she spent her first few years taking every educational opportunity available to her, and because of this Kristy has traveled to various institutes across the country to expand her knowledge of hair cutting and coloring. When Glow Salon and Spa opened in August 2004, Kristy was very excited to have the opportunity to work downtown Milwaukee.

Kristy’s pursuit of education has led her many places. She became and Artistic Educator for Matrix, which allows her to travel and train other stylists and salons on how to achieve a fabulous color for their clients and updating them on current trends. This entails attending extensive training throughout the country, and allows her to be a Color Specialist who is able to achieve, customize, and convert any color to a new radiant one. She also excels in dress work and facial waxing. Kristy loves education and sharing that with others. She has trained apprentices who came to her with very limited knowledge and have now become excellent stylist. Kristy keeps the stylists at the salon informed by teaching classes for them.
